In the class in which I am attending the teacher only gets 45 minutes planning time per day and has 1 meeting per week during planning. As far as parental involvement, parents assist during centers, field trips, and special activities such as Thanksgiving feast and gingerbread houses. They also assist with the end of the year picnic to celebrate children's success. The diversity in the class in which I volunteer has 1 Hispanic and 3 blacks. There are 13 girls and 11 boys in the classroom. There are three at risk students in the classroom.
